Re: Kids Land Bexco

This sounds like an abhorrent situation, though I must admit that you've structured the series of events in a rather confusing manner.  I can't imagine how your group must have felt under such terrible circumstances, but it's hard to discern between the events because your explanation of what happened kind of blurs everything together.

Have you thought about filing a formal complain with the city?  Were there any other witnesses to the verbal and physical abuse?  Was there anyone else to corroborate the staffs side of the story (other parents, children)?  After you left, did you sit and talk with each of the children in your group to get a thorough account of how they saw the situation unfold?

Could it have been a case of bigotry?  Were the kids in your group foreign?  Do you believe they singled out your children because of that?  Were you in a position where you were constantly monitoring the behavior of the children in your group? (not that I believe the accusations of the staff)

I could go on, as there are so many questions that would need to be answered, but this is a very delicate, and very serious matter.  I don't believe the staff at this Kids Land thing are authorized to put their hands on any child, and these are serious allegations to be leveling against them.

I suggest you put a lot more effort into writing out your account of what went down, in a clear and concise manner, and then file a formal complaint either with the management at Bexco, or with the city itself.

I wouldn't screw around with letters to Bexco or whatever, they will just give you lip service and say ' I'm sorry', which amounts to nothing. It means nothing to Koreans either by the way.

I'd go to the police and really stir shit up, the staff  won't be laughing anymore but get the Korean parents involved, that is the key. A mother's rage is unlike no other.

Keep us advised.

Did this go down exactly how I said it would? Yes.You would get the 'I'm sorry' and that type of bullshit? Yes.

They are just giving you lip serivce as I said exactly they would. Now they think in their mind the matter is settled.

You have to go to the police because they will not fire their employees. Employees here are rarely fired for anything. These people are at the bottom of the spectrum and there for life.

Go with the Korean parents to the police tomorrow.
