How can I get an employment verification form?

Hello all,

Does anyone know how to get an employment verification form? Do I need to ask my big boss, or can I get it from the secretary/admin? (If possible, I want to avoid telling my employer that I am considering moving onto another school.)

Any information would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks.

Admin should be able to do it. I work for a university and on our campus are ATM-type machines where we can input our employee ID and print off forms like that ourselves. It's very nice because it means we can bypass everyone.

considering you have to be working in order to have an E2, wouldn't that be employment verification?  honestly, if u do it up sly and your boss finds out later when your future employer calls him/her for a reference, not too sure if you're going to get a good one.  and trust me...this happens all the time in korea.  bad references i mean.

If they ask, just tell the secretary/admin that you need it for ___________ (fill in nationality) tax purposes or some such thing. You have to prove to your government that you're not working in your home country. They don't need to know that you're looking for other employment.
