Food in Pusan

I'm in the process of filling out an application for a teaching English in Korea position starting next August.  I know that my room is provided through the program, but I believe I am on my own for food.  What is the average cost of food per month in Pusan?  I would probably primarily stick to groceries, but possibly with eating out a few times.

Re: Food in Pusan

Depends on your eating habits.  If you shop and cook strictly Western food, it'll run you a bit more.  There are tons of neighborhood markets selling cheaper veggies and fruits you should check out.  The biggest grocery stores are a tad more expensive but you can't beat the variety they offer.

Eating out is so much cheaper, at compared to the States, with much, much better sevice.  No tax or tipping required.

the food is the least of your problems. dont worry about that.
