I like how the kids follow it around like it's the ice-cream truck or something. Breathe in, breathe in....you little terrors.

I've actually never seen any kids follow trucks around, except in the movie 친구!

OK from researching other blogs it's gota be one of the following:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cypermethrin

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDT

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methoprene

DDT is suspected to cause cancer.

Cypermethrin exposure can cause nausea, headache, muscle weakness, salivation, shortness of breath and seizures.

Methoprene seems to the safer pesticide..

Elgin at The Marmot's Hole discusses the subject frequently.  He points out that the spray may not be very harmful to people, it is almost useless in killing mosquitoes when sprayed during the middle of the day.

I won't let my son play in the spray and shake my fist when I see them spray in busy residential areas.

Oh, if you have time today, this afternoon is the Busan Kotesol conference at PUFS - Busan weh-gug-eo dae hak kyo.  There are streams on 'computer assisted teaching,', 'young learners' and 'teacher training'.  Sorry if this sounds like spam - i did give a substantive response to your question, after all.
