Any good salad bars in Busan?

Anyone know of any good salad bars in Busan?

Re: Any good salad bars in Busan?

Salad bar menu in pizza Hut varies in different neighborhood , which costs only 6,900 won/2 ppl

Mr Pizza also has a very very popular salad bar among young girls, it also costs 6,900 won/2 ppl, but the choices are limited.

Korean people like VIPS, but it is pricy. ht tp://www.ivips.co.kr/new/menu/Menu_Get_SaladBarInfo.asp

Re: Any good salad bars in Busan?

So, I went to this Salad Bar in Nampodong I mentioned with my friend...

I would say, if you don't like seafood that much, don't go there.

It's said to be Italian but don't expect it will be authentic.

Plus they don't serve dessert...

$20 is not cheap for a salad bar like this in Busan.

Re: Any good salad bars in Busan?

I checked out Pizza Hut and Mr. Pizza, but you have to order a pizza in order to get the salad.

Kind of defeats the purpose.

Re: Any good salad bars in Busan?

i've found it very difficult to find good salads (in terms of western cuisine) in korea.  the dressings especially aren't my cup of tea.  but if ur looking for iceberg lettuce and ur usual veggies, VIPS isn't bad...but only at lunch...as i find the dinner way overpriced.  the hotel buffets such as le seine in lotte, paradise hotel, westin, have a pretty good variety of salad toppers but are very pricey...i think somewhere in the area of 35 for lunch, 50-70 for dinner.  my advice, go to e-mart, buy ingredients and make ur own.

maris(seafood buffet place) in jangsan, haeundae is good-especially at lunch as it is the same food as at night but cheaper. all the hotels cost you at least 50 while there it is 22 for lunch i think and 32 for dinner. it is a huge buffet and the food is top notch.

Re: Any good salad bars in Busan?

Find an Orange County.  It's a Korean buffet that has barbecued meats, Korean dishes, Chinese dishes, and some western dishes.  It's not high quality, but very cheap (13,000) for a Korean buffet.  There is one near E-mart in Haeundae/Jung-dong.

Re: Any good salad bars in Busan? Ashley at SFUNZ

SFUNZ (Haeundae, just past the train station) has recently finished a complete renovation. One of the new restaurants is a salad bar.

I at there and it was excellent. Good chicken. Lots to eat for vegetarians, too. The front end greeter speaks very good English and I noticed a lot of foreigners for lunch.

Ashley Grill & Salad is located on the far end (the street end, Pizza Hut end [gone now]) on the fourth floor. They are open from 11 to 11 everyday.

Lunch: all you can eat for 12,900.. (weekdays) Dinner: 22,900  The dinner is more expensive because they have a different menu, a full grill for meats, and all the wine you can drink is included. The price on weekends is the dinner price all day.

The wines are out of a tap. Red: Merlot, Brachetto ...White: Proseco, Moscato

Pay extra for personal fillet mignon steaks or crispy shrimp plates.
