Schools and recruiters can dress things up any way they want and even if we know it is BS, we only get to rate them from a 1 to 5. Terrble! I give the school credit for jumping in there, though. So many jobs on here are misrepresented but what can you do-we are the mules and they have the whips.
Seriously?? You teach maybe ten or twelve hours a week and have over four months of paid vacation. I used to work at the university you're at, and it has to be one of the easiest, most-mindless jobs in Korea. Just how little work do you need to do before you -don't- feel oppressed??

"we are the mules and they have the whips."

People always love to pick and argue on here-what percentage of 'teachers' here have uni jobs crud?
I worked hagwons for years, had 5 e2 visas and finished one because they were all the same-give an
inch and they tried to take a mile. If you didn't agree you had bad character and so on. You cannot
say my experiences were anything other than what I say they are because you did not live them. To me,
we are the mules and they have the whips. As an aside, is any job anywhere in the
world any different than this? Workers have all the freedom to do whatever? In the psuedo heirarchy of life
there is a pecking order and falling in line is the way of the world. There are those who work and those
who hold the whips. Such is life-everywhere! We cannot make comments on bad jobs here because
koreabridge folk hold the whips. Top to bottom, this is life, fair or not so get over yourself.
You pick something just to argue but you have no idea what you are talking about. You try to get all
moral but in the end you need an argument to stand on-not just tears and a tissue. Nothing more needed here.
The end!
"-not just tears and a tissue"
I'm not the one portraying myself as an oppressed victim.
