Which store? Hunting down a power converter

We're looking to get a power converter to plug in our American electronics. Does anyone know which stores sell them? We've only found Japanese to Korean converters so far.

Any tips would be great! Thanks much!

Re: Which store? Hunting down a power converter

the little hardware shops or철무점 (chul-moo-jum) has them.  they run like 18K.  if you're shopping alone, just walk into one of these shops and ask for a 'Do-Rang-Su'  or 도랑쓰.  it's just a completely screwed up pronunciation of transformer dating back to the japanese occupation.  that's what most of the older busan people call it.

Any luck-

I cant find one either.  Looked at local stores and the lager ones like Hi-Mart.

EDIT:

I checked arround and couldnt find any of those stores.  However maybe that was a typo because "철물점" led me in the right direction.

However by then I had just given up and went to Lotte Mart and got one for about 30,000W.
