Hotel Reccomendation

Hello, I will be in Busan for a few days coming up. Does anyone have any hotel reccomendations for say around 100$ a night- close to the paradise hotel-

also any cool bars to go hang out at for ex-pats-

does busan have like a red light district- nothing tooooo sketchy though..

thank you

Re: Hotel Reccomendation

The sunset hotel is really nice and very close to paradise, pretty cheap as well!

Can't help ya on the red light district though.

Re: Hotel Reccomendation

Now don't quote me on this one but I think there is still a red light district just behind the main drag in haeundae, one steet behind and near the TGIF building.

There is also won-wol-dong but that is like run away girls and lets just say ladies they look driven hard and put away wet. If you get beer goggles then by all means.  A warning though many of the places don't really like foreigners there (..we all have aids you know) but there are places with will 'take' you.

Things may have really changed, I was there like 15 years ago, my first summer in Korea. I will admit I was a drunken mess and the only thing I was pounding that night was the pavement.

Re: Hotel Reccomendation

forget the hotel-get a motel. the sugar motel is better than any room you can get at a hotel and is less money. it is right beside the sunset hotel. big screen TV, computer, hot tub little sauna in the bothroom. really worth it. the top floor is like a one bedroom with a little balcony. also big screen tv and so on. if you really want a hotel, sunset is a little more now that it is the summer. no other hotels around for 100 bucks.

many bars. too many to talk about. but fuzzy navel, geckos on the beach, miami 88 u2 bar/club, and on it goes.

red light district right behind the outback and so on. perpendicular to the beach road. 80-100 bucks for 20/30 min i think.  other red light area is near nampodong but heaundae one is right there so...

i have lived in haeundae for a long tiem so if you have any questions i will be happy to help. just email me. cheers. enjoy!

Re: Hotel Reccomendation

at this time of year, thats probably what you're going to pay for any of the rooms in the love motel 'chon' across the street from the beach.  last summer, i remember paying like 150 for a room that had two beds.  even this past winter i paid 60K.  it was a very nice room though.  anyways, for a place to stay in the summer, it may be more convenient to stay a bit away from the beach, and then just take the subway.  good luck...
