Hey all,
Hope someone can direct me to a stereo receiver repair shop. (Would prefer somewhere in the Seomyeon area, but beggars can't be choosers.)
I have an old TEAC AG-D9260 AV Digital Home Theater Receiver, and I think the amp went out on it. Had a similar experience with an Onkyo Receiver when I lived state-side, and the cost was minimal compared to buying a new one.

after many koreans told me that there weren't any repair shops...
found! near bujeon market, large building with professional sound equipment...there was one guy in there who took about an hour to check out my stereo and get it working again (wasn't amp...some computer chip). only cost me 20,000won. way better than buying a new stereo.

Damn. Forgot about that place. It's the most obvious place and I'm kicking myself for not thinking of it before you discovered it!
