Motorbike Mechanic

I need somewhere to take my motorbike for repairs. I just bought it and its breaking down on me, just my luck. I would like somewhere that they speak English, if possible. Please help me. Thank-you.

Re: Motorbike Mechanic

Where in Busan are you? What kind of bike is it? What problems are you having?

Re: Motorbike Mechanic

I always take my bike to a place in Dongrae. The manager is a great guy and speaks English well. Where are you situated?

Re: Motorbike Mechanic

Okay, cool. I dont know Busan well yet. I will google that. I live on Yeongdo island, close to Nampo dong. I still need to get the bike registered and all that jazz. There are a few things I want done to it and I'd just like a place I can take it for service. If you want to go for a Sunday ride sometime, that would be cool. Take care.

Re: Motorbike Mechanic

Still would help to know what make and model bike you have to steer you in the right direction. If it is a Korean bike, 125cc, any shop can work on it. Most parts have English names with Korean pronunciation. Basically, just point at the problem and they will figure out what is wrong. If you have an import, or larger Korean bike, Mirage or Comet 250/ 650 you will want a shop that has experience with these bikes.

Re: Motorbike Mechanic

Hey I thought I had replied by email to you, I guess it didn't work. I have a 2007 Hyosung 125 cc. I was had a leaky hose and I needed to get the tires changed. I found a place and all is well now. Thanks for you help though.

Re: Motorbike Mechanic

I have a Hyosung GV 650. Just took it for a service today. The company for Hyosung is called S&T, in SAHA. If you can take your bike there, have them check it out sometime, that way you know if anything else needs to be sorted.

Re: Motorbike Mechanic

Well, driving motorcycle without insurance may be dangerous since drivers here in korea is on GTA drive mode.  Besides, when you have an accident with korean car, there is possibility that the repair cost would be directly charged to you. So i want you to at least buy a cheapest insurance coverage to protect yourself. Also, National insurance one got from workplace wouldn't cover the injuries from driving it.

One of my friend is running this website. He speaks quite fluent

Re: Motorbike Mechanic

Me and my bike will hopefully arrive in Busan in about 2-3 weeks, me earlier probably. My Suzuki DR650 is in need of a good service. Now, I don't speak a word of Korean, could someone here give me a recommendation for a motorbike service in Busan where someone speaks English or if not where they in general do good work on big bikes? A real Suzuki shop would be great since I need some original screws.

Thank you very much in advance for any information
