Hiya,
I am interested in buying a cheap small second hand car. I saw this website called SK Encar. However, you have to pay a deposite before getting an inspection done on the car. What if the report says it's a write-off?
Has anyone bought a car through them before, for domestic use?
Are there other websites like craigslist or gumtree which people put ads up? Even Korean would be fine. My wife is Korean and told me these don't exist.
Thanks a lot!
Herb
Re: Cheap second-hand car: Where should I look? Encar?
Have you considered going straight to dealer. I know that's how most of my friends got their cars, no idea about any inspections though.
I just searched second hand cars on Naver 중고자동차 and came up with this map.

Have a look on passo.co.kr.
Wouldn't know about getting the car checked out, etc.
Best of luck!
