Check out Fresh Fries Factory in Seomyeon
The link is from the Gastric Canvas bloooog.
What a total lack of information, both with this post and at Gastric Canvass..
Does anyone know the days/hours? Do they serve lunch? Is that only on weekends?
How about a phone number to call and ask?
Maybe some directions in English?
I intend to go look for them on Tuesday at 11 for lunch, but with my luck, it will probably be a wasted trip.
Re: What a total lack of information...
Really, busanfoodguy? Someone tries to shed some light on a new place to eat and that's your reply? I've always assumed you self-appointed the bfg title anyway, judging by your sporadic, dogdey info over the past few years.
Khutchu's post was both informative and honest. Decent fish, frozen fries. Cheap. Even if one didn't read Korean they could still find the place on the map he provided..Seomyeon station, left, right, etc.

Nice attitude. Don't bother. You'll probably have better luck with the kimchi/rice/soup at your school.
For many years I have read posts by upset, even angry, people replying to "new restaurant" posts. Often the directions are wrong, or insufficient. The most common upset is that they got there and the restaurant was closed.
Three of us went today, and as I feared, the place was closed. There was no phone number on the door nor hours nor days.. so we guess the restaurant is open in the evenings... but when? Can we go early or is this a late venue drinking place? Are they closed every Monday? Open Sundays? Who knows?
It is common sense that a restaurant or reviewer should post at least a phone number so those questions can be answered before wasting hours traveling to visit a public venue that is inconveniently not open. This is not only common sense, it is common curtesy! I will admit that this is one of my pet peeves.. I really like accurate directions and full information so that I am not disappointed. Shiner, your rant is inappropriate.
By the way, as for directions, it was not all that easy to find. I read Korean, but it took a scooter-delivery-guy and a then Post Office guy to figure the map out.. there was NO "turn left then right"..those were the directions for the earlier Sahara Kebab post (a repost from 2010?). The directions to the kebab-place were great, but the place was long gone! It no longer is "across from the Burger King, next to the Family Mart".
I left my name card in the door before I left.. their response:
Apologize to make your first visit futile. Regret our bar doesn't open in the daytime as the place our pub is located is bustling during the nighttime and the drinks available at Trifle F are only Draft Beer and Tequila. Our current operation hours is as follows :
From Sunday to Thursday, open at 6:00pm - close around 12:00am or 1:00am till the guests left
From Friday to Saturday, open at 5:00pm - close around 3:00am till the guests left
It will be appreciated if you drop by our bar once again during our running hours. Will serve you with good foods.
