Totally different things are happening depending on whether you're male or female.
Male: most things going on in Beomil-dong as far as I know.
Female: 3 lesbian bars in Seomyeon. A group called Busan Sisters meets once or twice a month for organized chaos.
If you are a gay man, I would suggest Beomil-dong area. Apparently, there is a gay district near Hyundai Dept. It's sort of hidden. There are gay bars that are foreign friendly I hear. If you are a woman, I think there are a couple of lesbian bars. One is in Seomyon near Migliore. I would suggest visiting the web site Utopia Korea. It has a lot of information of places where you can meet other people. It would be nice to have that community out of the closet here in Korea, though.
Beomil-dong is right, the back alleys and the entrance is at the rear.
I can't find Busan Sisters on FB, is it a hidden/secret group? How can I get added to it? Thanks.
