JEANS??

Has anyone bought any decent jeans for a decent price?

I'm looking for some decent jeans $70-100ish range.

Something of a higher quality than Uniqulo.

I've seen Calvin Klein and Armani Exchange but never checked out their prices...which I am assuming are ridiculous.

Any hints let me know!

Cheers

I tend to get good jeans at

I tend to get good jeans at costco. My levi's were just 40k. They are way more than that in Korean stores.

Ebay.  Know what size, brand,

Ebay.  Know what size, brand, inseam you've got?  Got a credit card?  Easy as pie.  Even with the shipping charges, much cheaper than what you'll find in Korea.

Got a pair of KCs for 100 at

Got a pair of KCs for 100 at Sinsaegae, granted they were half off for some event. If you want to find jeans that fit, you'll generally have to spend some extra money here. Sad but you'd rather have pants that not.

I need to define quality, brand image, and lilfestyle for jeans.

Wholesale jeans are in Dongdaemun and some areas of Namdaemun market places in Seoul, while retails can be divided into several categories.  With your current budget, you've got a couple options to choose your jeans from online and off.   Department stores sell some top level jeans as well as lows depending on their promotion strategy.  They sometimes provide annual sales at most four seasonal periods plus holiday seasons.  Local boutiques are good source to find second hand looking jeans at some areas like Kyungsung, Kukje Daecheongdong, Seomieon, and some Dongrae.  Many kids living with their family might order theirs outfit from online shopping mall such as lotteimall.com cjmall.com gsshop.com hmall.com with a monthly catalog delivered at home.   For those who temporally stay here with no life-long good jeans from their home, I think the best location would be at a grocery market mall like emart, homeplus, costco, etc.  I usually purchase jeans from SOHO, and add up in each season with some Korean made jeans online currently at lotteimall.  The jean fabrics are either non stretchable, only 3% spandex, or too much like up to 20%  spandex; therefore, I have to buy them every month for the comfortability of my jeans.

I can never find any cotton fabric with 6 % spandex under such a budget, because all cottons are imported from third countries and the price of natural fabrics goes up every year.  I will see what I can do from Japan, since I am leaving for a short trip.  Some dutyfreeshop online got nice items on sale2.

I've still got the same pairs

I've still got the same pairs I had when I first came here 10 years ago! But, I've also seen Levi shops around, I think there is one in Nampo and there used to be one in Kyungsung, but get a feeling it's not there anymore. No idea on price though.

Re: JEANS??

Costco is slowly phasing out their "U.S." sized everything, and the main difference in the pants is that they're made for guys and girls with chicken legs.

If you need a more "relaxed" fit, this is why you're best to shop online.  There's also the issue of quality control.  Otherwise check out the Nampodong market.

Re: JEANS??

Massimo Dutti, part of Zara group, recently opened in Seoul. You'd get nice design and quality for 100K
