Busan Daytrippers: Guided Mountain Hikes.

This week's hike: Baekyangsan. This mountain forms the semi-circular rim of Children's Park in central Busan.  The hike to the top is moderately strenuous and should take about five hours round trip including a nice long lunch break. After the hike we will eat dinner at one of the many fine traditional Korean restaurants near the park.

Grandmaster Kim Soo will conduct a FREE introductory lesson on this day to launch his new Chayon-Ryu (Natural Way) Martial Art class at the Y.M.C.A.  His classes at the Y.M.C.A. will start October 8th and will end November 26th, classes will be held every Wednesday and Friday from 7:00-8:30pm.

Do you know a cheaper and better way of spending a Saturday afternoon?

We do. The JH4 is a drinking group with a running problem. We go in search of trails throughout Jeonju to run, hike and to get to know more about the city we live in.

You neither need to drink nor run to enjoy a hash. All are welcome, young and old, fast or slow, virtuous or not, so just come on out and join us. The only prerequisite to hashing is a sense of h... umour and very social.

Basically this is a chance for everyone to dress up as a Vicar or a Tart but is not necessary and enjoy a hike/run in one of the most beautiful areas in Jeonju City, Martyr's Mountain. It is also JH4's 50th Run.

The twist is that this time the pack is going to have to find beer on trail, the quicker the beer is found the colder the beer will be.

There will be a patch, bbq and drinks a plenty.
