Lantern Festival Immersion

What: Be immersed in the Buddhist Lantern festival, wear the clothes and carry your own            lantern.  You will be part of the performance to the public!

Where: Dragon Head Mountain Park, Gudoek Stadium and Nampo-Dong

When: Meet at 1pm, Nampo subway exit 7 and go to Dragon Head Mountain Park, where you will be given Gimbap for lunch and enjoy traditional Korean activities.  At 5.30pm you will move to Gudeok Stadium to begin the procession through Nampo.

The Jinju Yudeung (Lantern) Festival is only held once a year and we don't want to miss out!!!! There is a beautiful display with tons of colorful lanterns, and the view at night there is amazing!! You'll be able to take wonderful photos and make some great memories. You can also participate in some activities and even make your own lantern, too.

This is a part of variety of events to be held during the 5th Topokki & Rice Noodle Festival, which will be held from 18 ~ 20 October 2013 at the aT Center.

African Festival at Seongbuk Global Village Center

Seongbuk Global Village Center will be holding an African Festival. The African Festival will be held for the first time ever in Seongbuk-gu on Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 12pm to 8pm at the Seongbuk-cheon Fountain Square(Hansung Univ. subway station exit#2)
 
The African festival is organized by Seongbuk Global Village Center under the auspices of the 17 African Embassies in Seoul. The embassies will have their own booths and show their traditional food, specialties and handcrafts.
