Apostille for Diploma/FBI background check...

Sorry to bring up a probably very redundant topic on here...

I already obtained one apostille for my diploma and found out that my future employer needs 2 copies (for board of labor and immigration).  I'm in Korea for two weeks before going to Europe and was hoping to get some of this stuff settled before I leave.

I'm wondering if I can get another diploma apostilled without actually being physically present for a notary?  Basically, can my Dad get the document notarized and then send it to the state for an apostille?

Get out while the Gettings Good

As I'm leaving my contract early I'm trying to sell some of the household goods I grabbed on the way in.  Pretty typical but I've noticed a plethora of "Leaving Sale!!!!" ads.

So whats the deal?  Is it a mad dash out of the country or what?  I couldnt find a toaster to save my life when I landed, now its a flodded market.  Did I miss something or is this just normal in Busan?

In my last few positions it was a relitivly regualr eb and flow of people leaving but this is something else.

TESOL Certs - Smart People, I challange thee! Best place to get one?

Hi All,

I'm now doing my shopping for a certificate which can help me maintain a position in Korea. I plan on moving to Seoul next year, however, I don't think my BA and 2 years of teaching experience is enough to land a decent job within city limits. So I'd like to do what I can, since I have the time and some extra cash, to get a certificate to better my chances.

How can I get an employment verification form?

Hello all,

Does anyone know how to get an employment verification form? Do I need to ask my big boss, or can I get it from the secretary/admin? (If possible, I want to avoid telling my employer that I am considering moving onto another school.)

Any information would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks.
