I had some birthday cards & such to knock out last night. After the usual haul of groceries and a terrible case of shin splints. I was ready to chill and relax. I watched the Illusionist again. Such a beautifully sad animation. I love the colors, inaudible voices, soft music, and landscape.  Sylvain Chomet is the writer  & director responsible for Triplets of Belleville {another favorite}.
