Stupid Internet Addiction

It’s 8 am. I have been up since 5:30. Instead of going for a walk around the track outside or cleaning, or heading to yoga, or doing my TAM, or I don’t know doing the 4 billion other things I could be doing… I am on my computer.

ImageIm on my 2nd cup of coffee, Eunee wants to play, and I am researching stupid CSS code. Agh. (how do you change the font/color/style of one widget in your sidebar?)

Every morning, before Adam gets up, I spend a good hour  or two reading blogs, people I follow (that sounds so stalkerish)

some of my favorites:

I look at photographs people take, read about what happened overnight on Facebook (since it is day in America when I sleep, I miss a lot), play a little Zynga Bingo (you’d think I was 80) I go through Pinterest and create a new board or add to ones I already have going.

I hate to admit it, but I kind of love this time of the day when the house is quiet and I veg out and live vicariously through other people. I spend the time dreaming about what project to do next, which city to plan on visiting, what to make for dinner. Most of these ideas start as someone else’s but then I add in my own flair and go with it.

I think it is great to dream, as long as you are a doer and put them in to action.

But, I do believe the time I spend on the Internet must decrease!! And don’t even get me started on how must this smartphone dominates my life!!!

What do you spend the most time doing on the internet? Do you think it is a waste of time, or are you being productive? What are some of your favorite sites to surf?
