Sighns

Korea really does have a lot of English signage. Definitely a lot more than I had originally expected.  And a lot of the time it's perfectly fine... and other times it's not.

Sometimes you come across a sign so wrong that there's nothing more you can do except take a picture and share some giggles with the world.

Make-up shops in Korea are almost the same...

I feel like this one pops up frequently amongst residents of Busan, but it's too good to not include:

Here's a close-up of how 'Cafe the Park' wants to define itself

But just some..

I can't get too mad at a delicious cupcake and a smiling fork- I was pretty Happ. at that moment.

Sometimes your anthropomorphized washing machine wants to yell at you.

I really don't know what to say about this one- I guess my mind bridge isn't linking properly to my Stylish Basic.

I mean really, who can turn down Kenny Rogers- Now you can sing with good ole Kenny (totally random true story- my senior year of high school me and some others in my school choir sang with him at our local theater for his Christmas concert)

I really just like this one because my cat's name is Momo.

And I also happen to dig the band Belle and Sebastian.

This one isn't so funny as much as awesome and super cute.  I really do dig the PNU Charlie Brown Cafe.

This is a very small sampling of things that don't quite fit here.  Like tomatoes on cakes, sweet potato puree on pizzas, and the words 'Happy Virus' plastered on a notebook it seems as if Korea get so close only to fall flat.  Most of the time I find the attempts endearing, and the rest of the time I just find it comical.

But seriously if you need me to proof read your sign, I would gladly use my English speaking powers for good.
