Well Mamas & Papas, it’s been a few weeks since the Makgeolli Festival at Jarasum and we can officially say….we have recovered!! Not only are we alive and making sense again, but we are also eager to road-test some new found places.  This Saturday’s meeting is pretty special, as it not only has a range of some of the best makgeolli, cheongju and soju in town…but they also have their very own wood fire grill!!

That’s right, they have an open flame for the grilling of all sorts of goodness and we can’t wait to see how their menu pairs with Korean traditional alcohol.  The location is in Nonhyeon and the meeting will be at 7pm, so if you would like to join us in seeing how makgeolli can match with Italian grill inspired food, send and email to [email protected]!
