I spent the evening at my boyfriend's place near Seoul National University and remembered that SNU Quill, their English-language journal, had done a feature story on gay rights back in October. Titled 'The Current State of Homosexual Rights', there are five featured stories.
The main story, Gay rights, from where and to where, is a very quick historical introduction of the gay rights movement. Stories on Social Responsibility and the Russian Olympics and A Pope for All discuss international news as it concerns gay rights. Haesol Kim questions whether or not Korea is ready to open its doors to homosexual marriage in First Korean Gay Marriage. Finally, Stop the Mocking and Let the Talking Begin! touches on the best way to engage homosexuals.
