There are at least two summer musicals this season with queer themes. The first one is a huge hit in Korea: Hedwig and the Angry Inch. The musical is playing through September 8th.

The second musical this summer season is Thrill Me: The Leopold and Loeb Story. Thrill Me is based on the true story of Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb, who murdered a young guy just for the thrill of it. The two men also have a sexual/romantic relationship.
