A newly published book, Korean Court Ladies (조선의 역사를 지켜온 왕실여성), includes some information on Soon Bin Bong, the daughter-in-law of King Sejong who was charged with misbehaving with her lady servants. Apparently, a book by author Kim Byeol-ah titled Rainbow was also written about the incident with promises of a film release. Maybe it will have to be my first book of the new year... Also in the arts, The Gay Men Project, aiming to create a visual catalog of gay men around the world, has done a post on Korean queer artist Heezy.

In Pop Culture, a teenage boy talks about his being mistaken as a gay man because of his feminine voice on Hello, Korea (Korean). Transgender actress Choi Han-bit was spotted at Star's Night  while Harisu was spotted with Thai actress Treechada Petcharat.  Oh, and we shouldn't forget Eminem "coming out" in the Interview. That's queer Korean news, right?
