New Queer Party? Vogue at Cakeshop

Cakeshop in Itaewon is launching a new party called Vogue. Here is the party's concept from their Facebook page:
Friday July 19th will be the launch of the long anticipated ‘v.o.g.u.e’ party, a brand new, monthly disco for Seoul’s Gay and Lesbian crowd - and all those who ♡ them!

Taking place at Seoul’s leading underground club ‘Cakeshop Seoul’, v.o.g.u.e will bring together hundreds of boys and girls, of all persuasions, for what will to be the start of Seoul’s premier, and most forward thinking LGBT night.

Away from the ‘Hill’, and with a focussed music policy, v.o.g.ue is sure to become a welcomed addition to the monotonous and limited gay nightlife scene LGBT’s are often subjected to in Seoul.

We’ll be using some of Seoul’s best, and our personal favourite DJ’s including Oil Can Boyd, Rou Set and Fitzwell to grace the decks playing old-school 90’s house, disco anthems, RnB cuts and camp classics together with visuals extraordinaire, F:::UP for some extra eye candy.

Whatever your orientation, come get down, get sweaty, support your scene and let’s make this the start of something big.

The launch party is Friday July 19th. I'll be taking the TOPIK test that weekend, which means no party for me... Maybe I'll be able to attend the following party in August?

Cakeshop is right near the west entrance of Itaewon. The entrance fee will be 10,000 won, but visit the Facebook page for info on how to get on the guest list for free entrance before midnight.
