My first ever photography project is finally compete! Ever since watching a video on Youtube by Danny Santos and Fleecircusabout their street photography project in Singapore I knew I wanted to do a similar project in South Korea! The audio in the video is not in tune with the pictures, but I’m satisfied with it because it is my second time making a video fromAdobe Premiere Pro. I hope you enjoy my work!

The purpose of this project is to capture the different personalities that exist in Busan, South Korea. I used the same concept as Santos and Fleecircus except my friends and I decided it would be better to target a busy area. Hence, we took pictures at Seomyeon station, just in front of the Lotte Department Store. Personally, the most difficult part of this project was asking to take a picture of a  Korean person because, apparently, I look very threatening with a camera and an art canvas. I plan to expand my project to other major cities in South Korea such as Seoul, Daegu, and Daejeon in the near future. The photos were taken on Saturday May 7, 2011.
