Man of the Week: Tablo

Let me introduce you to 32 year old Tablo.
In 2003, he formed Epik High with Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz, an alternative hip-hop group with a pretty extensive discography.
The group had to separate for a while so members could do military service. During this time, Tablo did some solo work. I'm pretty fond of Bad. (Airbag's nice too)
The group had their comeback last year. YG kind of gave them a makeover. Some people argue that they've sold out . . .
Anyways, my favorite thing Tablo has done was his work with Infinite Flow and Nell to create Rainbow. This song is tons of gay, haunting, and on repeat at my house lately. This song came out in 2006, way before K. Will's Please Don't or Glam's Party (XXO). The lyrics are pretty heavy; two men that have been in love since junior high are separating because one man is marrying a woman to become part of society. It's not just the gayness that makes this song awesome. It just is.

Oh, and he graduated from Stanford. Hot. Even though there was some harsh rumors about his education from anti-fans, which you can read about on his Wikipedia page.
Tablo is married to actress Kang Hye-jung, but that's cool. I'll just have sex while listening to Rainbow. And maybe thinking of Epik High with mouse ears...
