Jjim dalk (찜닭) literally means “steamed chicken,” but it’s kind of misleading as the chicken is broiled rather than steamed. I’ve been told it’s a food to eat while drinking, but I like eating it all the time, drink or not.

One of my favorite places to eat this is at Du Namja (두남자 찜닭, Two Males). Their slogan is: “We are confident that we are #1.” I think they just might be. Prices range from 16,000-24,000₩ +3,000₩ for cheese and you know I gotta have that cheese!

Oh yum, I love the broiled chicken, potatoes, and glass noodles! And, with some flavored soju, why not? (Note to self: I should really tell you about the flavored sojus.)
