If you ever find yourself especially sleepy in Korea, a jjimjilbang (찜질방) is a good place to go for a few hours. We went to Dragon Hill Spa (드래곤힐스파) the last time we were in Seoul to soak in hot water and slumber on the floor.

On weekends, it’s 14,000₩ for day (5:00 am - 8:00 pm) or night (8:00 pm - 5:00 am). Lots of variety in rooms (e.g. all temperatures, including an ice room and a salt room) and baths (e.g. ginseng and medicinal water).

It was really, really nice to experience all the variety. It’s also beautifully designed and seems like they put some effort in ongoing renovations too. Lots of different Korean snacks and drinks, too. I definitely want to go back. You can get there easily from Yongsan subway station exit 1 or Sinyongsan subway station exit 3.

Hours: 24 hours, open 365 days a year

Address: 서울특별시 용산구 한강대로21나길 40 (한강로3가)
40-713 Hangangno 3(sam)-ga, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
