I went to Lotte Waterpark (롯데워터파크) in Gimhae for the day. It’s easily the best water park in Korea and one of the best I’ve ever been to.

It’s a Polynesian-themed waterpark, an hour from Busan, filled with fun waterslides, wave pools and interactive play structures that take up the equivalent of 17 soccer fields. You aren’t required to wear a hat -like most Korean water parks- but you do have to wear a personal flotation device (aka life jacket).
