As a talented filmmaker, Yoon Jung Lee,who has worked on popular films such asThe Good, The Bad, The Weird, is helping the South Korean indie film industry progress across American borders.

Lee’s current project is a full-length feature film starring actor Kim Jung  Tae, who was recently in the popular Korean drama Dream High 2. The film’s title is Remember O Goddess, and the first 25 minutes of the film have already been released at multiple events such as the 2011 LA Asian Pacific Film Festival. With her work garnering attention and positive feedback, Lee and her team are motivated to extend and finish the film’s story.

Remember O Goddess is about a man who has completely lost his memory. With heavy noir influences, the story captures the running emotions of the main character as he struggles to regain his identity.

Director Lee and her team have started a Kickstarter campaign to finish up their film. You can check out their Kickstarter page here. The deadline to help fund Remember O Goddess is May 10.

If you’re in the Philadelphia area, there’s also going to be a fundraiser event this Saturday, April 28th at 7pm at Seo Ra Bul Restaurant (5734 Old 2nd St, Phila, 19120, $15 buffet dinner).
