Another Queer Weekend

Of course, the LGBT Film Festival is going on all weekend. But if you are looking to grab a drink instead of see a film that shouldn't be a problem.

If you want to try something new, head to LOVO and get a free drink. As I haven't been yet, I can't promise anything, but the interior looks nice.

Circuit is hosting a party on Friday called Like a Virgin. Again. Nice poster, but where are the Koreans? 10,000 won entrance (5,000 before midnight) and if you add an extra 5,000, you can have certain drinks free all night.

On Saturday, I will definitely be heading to Wolfhound in Itaewon. Plus, my first night in Seoul (EVER) I went to Wolfhound, got wasted, and wandered up to homo hill. I love gay parties at bars that are normally straight. More info can be found on their facebook page.

Starting at 10 on Saturday, Moon Night is hosting the Super-Dragqueen Party. The cover is 10,000 won, with one free drink, but you can send an e-mail to get on the guest list. For more info, go to the event's Facebook page.

Saturday's party at Circuit is Milk Party. I've never been to one of these parties. Is there anything special? Do we actually get sprayed with milk?

Finally, on Sunday, June 16th you can get tested for HIV/AIDS at Moon Night. This service is provided through KHAP and Open Doors Community Church. Check out their Facebook event page for more info. It may be late to get a kit, but it won't hurt to ask.
