After the Snowfall by Lee Hang-bok (1556-1618)

After the snowfall, the twig gate is closed till late.
At midday, there is no human path on the bridge over the brook.
Hot air rises up in thick clouds from a brazier.
Alone, I roast and eat big, mountain chestnuts.
