“Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.”

Andy Warhol

Whenever I see these stacked rocks, often near temples, I try to remind myself to see the beauty in everything. This usually lasts for about five minutes.

I really wish I could be the type of person who sees beauty in everything. All the time. I’d like to walk around, continually amazed at the precise perfection of rocks, roads, people, plants, and animals. Normally unappreciated things, like insects and weeds - that - grow - through - cracks - in - the - sidewalk, could live their lives happily—knowing that, were they to enter my field of vision, I would appreciate the hell out of them.

Ugh. If only.
