“In Her Wake: Eunah Kim,” a posthumous exhibition

“In Her Wake: Eunah Kim” is an exhibition that is being held in honor of Eunah Kim (1973-2010) and the art that she produced between 2000 and 2009. After being diagnosed with lung cancer, she produced a wide range of art, including sculptures, wall hangings, and paintings.

The Villager reports that although Kim was born into a Catholic family, she converted to Zen Buddhism while she was in graduate school, and so much of her artwork reflects her spiritual journey.

The exhibition will be held until July 29th at the DA Gallery (supported by the Korean American Association of Greater New York).
