YBM PINE Head Office is seeking a curriculum developer to work at our head office in Jongno central downtown Seoul

The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications; excellent grammar skills, good writing skills, work well with fellow team members and complete assignments within the required timelines. Also enjoy working in an office environment and contributing to the development of ESL materials for our YBM PINE company owned schools catering to children (Kinder and elementary ages)
Position: Curriculum Developer at the YBM PINE Head Office
Salary: 2.3 to 2.7 million + severance pay + housing subsidy of 450,000 won on top of the salary
Korean Pension and Health Insurance: Fully comply with this regulation
Benefits: Severance pay, 10 Vacation days + all national holidays off
Start Date: Flexible dates after mutual agreement between April to late May 2018 start
Work Place: YBM Head office in Jongno (Jongno 3ga subway station 3 min walk)
Work Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday (No late night work)

Typical work activities: Working within the YBM PINE R&D contents team liaising with the content developers as well as creating/contributing curriculum materials. Perform duties such as checking spelling, grammatical errors, sub-editing text written by different authors to ensure consistent style and awareness of new words/phrases usage with a view to ensuring they are appropriate for our targeted students (Korean children studying at our YBM PINE schools)

- Native English speaker currently in Korea with F4, F2, F5, F6, E2 or D10 visa
- Must have one full year of teaching experience at a school in Korea
- Must be able to come in for an interview and do an editing task in person.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
