    International Women’s Day

    I swear, I’m not dead.

  • Happy Lunar New Year!

Trying something different. I hope everyone has a fantastic Lunar New Year! Here’s hoping to see y’all with some new comics in the near future!

  • Dear Korea #149: There is No Escape

Long time no see! It’s been a busy few months and some insane life changes have been happening on my side. To offer a clue, I currently live alone and I might be moving to Seoul in the near future. Big stuff, right? Anyways, despite all that’s been going on, it’s been impossible to go for more than a few hours before having political stuff shoved in my face. I assume it’s been the same for anyone else who uses social media. I do apologize to all the non-Americans who have had to deal with everything that’s been coming from our current election.

  • Happy Chuseok!

    Happy Chuseok!

I hope everyone is having a great Chuseok! Whether you’re traveling or spending them with loved ones, enjoy your holiday and eat lots of good food! BONUS QUESTION: What did YOU get for Chuseok this year? I got a bunch of pears. So. Many. Pears.

  • Dear Korea #148: Survivor's Guilt

Whenever life in Korea gets difficult, I often remind myself of where I’m from and the things I survived. Sure, not being able to find clothes in my size or being teased by the locals isn’t exactly my idea of fun, but it certainly beats staring at an almost empty bank account while trying to decide between having food or putting gas in the car.

  • Dear Korea #147

    Dear Korea #147

This is actually a little late, as half of my friends are already on vacation at the moment. It should also be noted that since I don’t work as a teacher, I don’t really get the usual stretches of vacation. Considering how hot it is outside, I honestly don’t mind. As long as I’m near […]

  • Dear Korea #146: Bon Appétit

What’s portrayed in this comic is a little something a friend of mine likes to call “Restaurant Roulette”. Sometimes it goes well. Other times? Not so much. Having the help of smart phones and Google Translate has helped from time to time, but not so much in situations where I had no idea what I was trying to order. Seriously, try looking up “막창” and see if that’s something you would want to eat for dinner.

Once again, I do apologize for the random delays in updates. Life has been…well, weird. I won’t bore anyone with details, but there are some big changes coming around my way, and some of them are not so great. I’ll do my best to keep putting out comics, especially since I have some big changes planned to make things a little more interesting for myself and (hopefully) for my readers.

    Stay cool out there!

  • Dear Korea #145: Keep On Keepin' On

Anyone who has any sort of presence on the internet is probably well aware of all of the drama that’s been going on in the states. Needless to say, it’s been having a bit of an impact on my desire to move back. This goes double when taking people like my significant other (as well as other friends) into consideration.

  • Dear Korea #144: Hold the Door

It’s been a busy and weird few weeks, but here’s a new comic! The concept for this one was given to me by the one and only Roboseyo. I honestly don’t know why I didn’t think of it earlier. Even after almost six years, those doors that don’t open still don’t make much sense to me.
