Holy Crap! One Drop East is actually getting out of Busan for once! And we're bringing the party to our neighbor and next largest city, Daegu. Good news for those in Daegu... Great news for the rest of the peninsula. After all, Dong-Daegu station is a stop on the KTX - most likely closer to you than Busan Station. I'm just sayin...

Not only will ODE be bringing the groove, the whole groove and nothing but the groove... but you will also get the opportunity to witness the Darlings of Daegu's Music Scene, Levine, rock out in all their poppy, punky, spunky, sugary sweet goodness. That's right, THE Levine, winners of Groove Magazine's Favorite Expat Band in Korea Poll, will be kicking the party off the right way.

And then ODE will take the stage from the left way... and make you dance the hard way... unless your legs give out right away... in which case you must have been doing it the wrong way.

Either way, you're gonna have a blast... so come enjoy our first Daegu show with us!

ONE DROP EAST hits the trifecta of reggae, funk and soul with a full horn section and groove that dares you to get out of your chair. Winners of LIVES' 2009 inaugural Battle of the Bands this high energy band play an eclectic mix of original music and covers and have been entertaining Busan crowds since 2006. The 10-piece band consists of longtime Busan residents hailing from Korea, New Zealand, Australia, the U.S. and Canada. With a name from the “one drop” reggae rhythm, this group has been gigging around Busan for a few years now and doing it all for the love of music.

원 드랍 이스트는 2006년 부산에서 결성된 made in Busan 밴드로 2010년 그들만의 오리지널 곡 총 11개를 수록한 On Home Ground 발매하였다. 총 9인의 부산 상주 외국인 (뉴질랜드, 호주, 미국, 캐나다 출신)으로 구성된 ODE의 첫 앨범은 작사, 작곡, 녹음 및 앨범 제작의 모든 과정을 부산에서 마쳤으며 이들의 부산에 대한 느낌을 표현하듯 앨범명도 On Home Ground라 정했다. reggae/ska/funk/soul/atro-beat를 넘나드는 이들의 음악은 곡마다 색다른 분위기와 재미를 주며 이들의 음악을 듣다보면 어느새 몸을 들썩이는 자신의 발견하게 될 것이다.
