Koreans love soccer, so it's no surprise that the country has participated in seven World Cups, and even hosted the tournament in 2002. This summer, Korea will once again come together to support the national team for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Go Reds! In 2002, South Korea made it all the way to the semifinals, and the whole nation cheered. But even when the event is held far away, as it was in 2006, all of Seoul comes to a standstill for the games. Hundreds of thousands of fans filled the plazas in Seoul to watch live TV broadcasts of the matches. The city of Seoul is once again planning to show the games live on giant screens so the fans can come out and enjoy the World Cup together. It is certain that everyone in Seoul will want to watch the June 12 game between South Korea and Greece. We'll be heading to City Hall Plaza to cheer for Korea alongside thousands of fans. So get your Reds gear and prepare for a truly awesome evening!
