When? 

Saturday, May 7th, 2011. Games will start at 11:00 am and run until 7:00 – 7:30 pm. Please show up a little early because games will start quickly.

Where? 

The Hat tournament will be held at the Dongguk University soccer stadium in Gyeongju. The other festivities will be held on the Gyeongju Riverside and Seongeon-dong neighborhood in Gyeongju. 

Fee: 

10,000 (we promise you'll get your money's worth!) You can transfer the money to KEB Account 620-194204-496 or bring it to the tournament. I will do my best to get t-shirts ordered and delivered by the day of the tournament. Some water will be provided and other beverages will be sold at the field. 

Directions:

We are about 50 minutes from Daegu and Busan by bus or 20 minutes by KTX. We are 2 hours from Seoul by KTX. If you use the KTX, come to Singyeongju Sation. Seongeon-dong is walking distance from Dongguk University. Restaurants and bars in the city are very convenient to where we'll be playing. Here's a map to the university:

6. Skill Level (1: Beginner/Play casually, 2: Regular player/Playing for a few years, 3: Playing Competitively Now / Club, University, or Open Team)

Tournament Format: 8 team double elimination tournament, played on ½ of a soccer field with artificial turf. Teams will consist of 10 to 12 players, with 3-4 females and 7-8 males each. Games will be 50 minutes in length, with two 20 minute halves and a 10 minute half-time. We will play either 6 on 6 or 7 on 7, tbd. (Details are subject to change depending on registration numbers.) 

We are shooting for at least 80 players. The tournament will be capped at 96 players, so please register ASAP to secure a spot.
