The European Christmas Market will be held at Seongbukcheon fountain square November 29 to 30, 2013.

The European Christmas Market is organized by Seongbuk Global Vil-lage Center under the auspices of the European embassies of: Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germa-ny, Italy, Romania, Switzerland, UK, Ukraine.

Participants can experience many attractions at the market including a variety of traditional European food and drinks. As German spe-cialties there will be hot spiced Gluehwein, waffles, and soup. Also there will be Roesti and chocolate moose at the Swiss booth, choco-lat chaud and sausage of France. Not only food items but dazzling

Christmas ornaments and toys and even a real Santa Clause from Eu-rope will catch your eyes.

On Saturday, November 30th, there will be special events people can participate in and showcase their costumes and dances. The first event is a Santa Costume Con-test. For those joining the Santa costume contest, just dress up as a Santa and show off your peculiar and waggish Santa suits! Winners of the contests will receive cash prizes or some gifts. If you miss the Santa Costume Contest, you can join the dance contest. Just dance on the stage to European music. For the dance contest, there is no need to register in ad-vance. The European Christmas Market will be a special time for people to get experience with European Christmas.
