Due to some confusion over this event the name has been changed to more accurately reflect it's purpose and goals.

The event will take place at HQ bar, Beached Bar and Sharkys bars which are all located along Gwangali beach (see posted map) 

The market brings together people from all over the world who wish to share food, crafts and experiences from their own, and other, cultures. There will be food to sample from Iran, Greece, Ireland, the Phillipines, the UK, Europe, North America and a few other places too. Hand crafted jewelry, soaps and candles will also be on offer using techniques from around the world. Stall holders will be happy to talk to you about the significance of their items in their own culture and some of the history behind them too.

We want to welcome everyone to this event, but especially for Koreans, who so generously share their culture with us everyday, this is a great opportunity for us to return the favour. 

We also hope to use this opportunity to raise funds for Korea based charities. This month we will be raising money for BAPS (a local dog shelter), the Busan women's shelter and also the charity educate a child. We hope to rotate the charities we fund raise for and plan in the future to give donations to local orphanges, the Korean Breast cancer association, a group providing assistance for unwed mothers and we are always happy to hear of any other local charities or organisations who could use some support. 

The event includes a clothing sale of donated clothes with all the proceeds going directly to charity. Clothes, toiletries and other items are also collected and distributed to worthwhile causes in Korea. If you would like to donate please bring on the day to beached bar or contact me in advance to arrange a drop off.
