The 18th Busan International Travel Fair, a “blue tour”-themed exhibition in Korea’s major marine city, will be held in BEXCO Exhibition Center I Hall 3 for four days from September 11 to 14. The purpose of this event is to provide information on ocean and cruise tours in the Yeongnam region (southeastern part of the Korean Peninsula, including Busan, Daegu, Ulsan, and South and North Gyeongsang Province), in order to promote marine tourism in Busan, and offer information on various tourism industry trends, such as green tourism and family tourism.

 

The exhibition will also serve as a venue for the presentation of new tourist destinations and travel packages around the world, providing participants with a wealth of new information. Furthermore, the fair will feature numerous special events, such as the Busan Tourism UCC Contest Exhibit, Busan Tourism Picture Contest Exhibit, and World Food Festival, along with various side events, including traditional folk performances of Korea and other countries, the Traditional Culture Experience Center, and the Traditional Costumes Fashion Show. The event is expected to be an inbound, outbound, intra-bound travel fair offering an abundance of information and a variety of programs for participants to take part in, allowing them to experience the cultures of different countries around the world.
