[WARM HAERTED INDIE SHOW: DONATE UKULELE TO FREE SCHOOL FOR KIDS]

two of the best indie bands in Korea and two of young rising bands gathering for one good reason.

all profits from the show will be donated to a free school (Kongbubang: free school for underpreviliged children. all classes are run by volunteers and donations) named Satmaru Gongbubang. http://smr.new21.net/

the kids are in grade 1~ middle school, they get to take few different classes like english, math, etc, and 1 music class. in their music class they've been learning to play Ocarina. before that music class they never got to learn any musical instruments other than in music class in their public shcools.

we 4 indie bands would love to give these kids the gift of music. we would love to let them know what music does to a life. since a UKULELE is a perfect instrument for kids to learn and to sing as well, the ukulele class will be sing-songwriting class as well.

singer-songwriter Shinae and her band. songs have all different styles and colors you can hear laidback to powerful. plays indie pop-folk to rock-funk with a strong female vocal sound.

Soul Summit 소울서밋:

Vocal-구윤회, Drum-박현순, Guitar-유웅렬, Bass-박일, Keyboard-전상민&박동휘, Altosaxophone-이승훈, Tenorsaxophone-성낙원, Trombone-추명호

Soul Summit big funky brass band with brilliant funk, soul originals reminding great old funk musicians like James Brown, Tower of Power, etc

Ukulele Picnic 우쿨렐레 피크닉:

one and only famous ukulele trio in Korea plays Hawaiian pop-folk. they played in ukulele festivals in Hawaii, Japan. sweet, happy summer songs will cool you out.

Mimi Sisters with Minam Mineyo. 미미시스터즈 with 미남미녀:

no need to explain. fun, sexy, hot 60s retro rock female duo who used to play in 장기하와 얼굴들(Jang gi ha and faces). if you haven't checked out them yet you really have to ASAP.
