Where can I find a good animal shelter? Kitty still needs a home!!

Hey everyone. I've been holding on to the hope that this ad that I've posted: http://www.koreabridge.net/ad/cute-kitten-cute-and-waiting-you-solidchamp will help me to find a good home for this sweet little kitty. Alas, it would seem that most people don't want the responsibility. I'm crushed that Taiwan's animal import laws make it impossible for us to take her. I have three weeks, and counting, to find her a good home. If I don't, I'm wondering what my alternatives are. I remember reading about a shelter that does not put animals to sleep. That they run on donations and volunteer work and they do their absolute best that every single animal gets a home. Can anyone contact me with the info to a good animal shelter? This may be my only option, and I don't think I could do it if it were a place that eventually puts animals to sleep or dumps them back out on the street. I really want her to have the best possible chance at a happy, healthy life. ANY help would be sincerely appreciated!

in my opinion an animal shelter only keeps the pets for a certain amont of time . If nobody

adopts the cat or dog  they put them to sleep forever (death) not sure if that is a good idea if

you reallly want to help the cat / Even in USA  or Canada animal shelters are not hotels  they just

keep the pets for a certain time . If no one wants it that pet is put to sleep . I heard a disturbing

thing   rumor about vets in korea  fact or fiction some pet owners brought there dead pets to a vet   and the vet sold them

to a resturant .  thing about it  a dog or cat died   no one knows why  and its cooked and served

for dinner . Another good reason why not to eat dog or cat meat . I rmember 10 years ago i was

in vietnam . People were rounding up street dogs and cooking them in resturants  Well over 100

people died . Remember Korea does not check dog or cat meat for diseases like other meat

Eating dog and cat meat  is illegal in korea as far as i know but there are dog meat and cat soup r

resturants really disgusting i think
