Well I do not know but can say that since residing in Asia have found that it is easier doing laundry here by hand than it was back home.  Like right now I do reside in a house on the outer edge of Gimhae and the house has no washer and it is too far to try carrying it on the bus for having it done.  My main problem with this is actually where to hang it, especially if there is smoke coming from my neighbors.
