Help Wanted - Language Questions
Printer-friendly version

Reading a book, I encountered this weird sentence: "What photos there are have him included with the others." Can you be kind enough to drop me a line explaining what it means or whether it is gramatically correct or not? Thanks a bunch!

Re: Help Wanted - Language Questions

'What photos there are' - Of the few photos that exist.

'have him' - show him.

'included with the others.' - Both he and the others are in the picture.

Gramatically, the original sentnece is a little clunky. Maybe 'He is with the others in all of the photos, but there are only a few photos' might be clearer.
