Hi,
I have heard I can extend my E-2 visa for 30 days beyond my contract period. My job will end in June and I want to travel for a week or two afterwards. How can I go about doing this?
Thank You,
Julie

Re: E-2 Visa EXtension
Look at the back of your ARC(id card). There is an expiry date for your visa. For you it is probably in July. Usually, E2 visas are valid for 13 months, one month beyond the end of your contract. You are allowed to stay in Korea until that date on your ARC.
If you need to extend beyond that, go to immigration with your outbound air ticket and they should extend it for a month.
