Busan Lotte Giants - 2010 Season

Well baseball season is almost on us again and the schedule has been published.
For the always entertaining Lotte Giants check out their website (IE recommended)

There are pre season games that are happening right now, but the season kicks of proper on Saturday 27th March.
Lotte's home game is against the renamed Heroes (Now the Nexen Heroes).

Tickets can be bought at the ground before games begin. However, for the seasons early games, and subsequent games if they are doing well, at the ground tickets are difficult to get (if they are available at all).

But, at this stage you will need a Korean id number to sign up, since foreinger ARC numbers are not accepted.
The good news though is that from April, foreigners will be able to become members according to the site.
Hopefully this will be season that they will finally break through and achieve what they have always promised but never achieved! Then again, this is the Lotte Giants we are talking about!

Yeah I recommend going down at least two hours before the game on opening day. We were there at 11 last year and there was a fair few people infront of us.

Haven't had time to get the English version of the baseball schedule up yet - may eventually just post the Korean schedule with a translation key. If anyone wants to work on an English translation, let me know - would be glad to post it.

Is the opener a day game?
Are all Saturday games at Sajik matinees?
Apart from the opening weekend, where both games start at 2:00 on Saturday and Sunday or subsequent games start at 5:00 on the weekends (Sat - Sun) and 6:00 on weekdays (Tue - Fri). Although in the past some games have been known to start at 1:00 on special days such as Children's day.
Here is where I found some useful info about the schedule. I think weekend games start at 2pm and weeknight games start at 6:30.

Both Satuday and Sundays games are sold out online. I have no idea if they have held back any tickets for game day. I have tickets for the unassigned seating section and plan to get there 2 hours early to hopefully find somewhere to sit!
