Experienced ESL Teacher Searching for Jobs in Seoul
Alex Heard-White B.A. (Hons) D.O.B. 15/10/1991
Having graduated from university and after completing the CELTA course in 2014, I was keen to further my teaching experience. I have worked as an EFL teacher in China from December 2014 to January 2017. Following my time in China I decided to join a kindergarten and elementary academy in Seoul, South Korea. I joined Kidsland in April, 2017 and in my time here I have developed a strong understanding of the kindergarten school environment. I feel that I have also improved my teaching skills with this age group.
As a teacher, I endeavor to focus on the needs of the students in my class using a wide range of resources and incorporating both published materials and developing my own. I aim to present clear objectives for my students at the start of each lesson and develop strong lesson plans for my classes. With a keen interest in technology, I hope to create an engaging and active classroom. I am very happy to take an active role in the development of an educational institution as well as in the progress of its students.
